I may be one of the luckiest people in the world. Fishing is my passion, I am a partner in Vanity Ventures, and I live at one the best walleye and northern pike lakes in the world, Tobin Lake. I look forward to going to work every day. We are located near Nipawin Sask. You may have already been to the website, so enough about that.

Tobin lake is a reservoir between two damns that are 42 miles apart. The first 12 miles consists of a flooded river channel that is around 24 ft. deep. This creates 24 miles of structure and we all know that the walleye love structure.

I’m not going to get into detail about the different techniques this time around, but just to keep your interest in the lake I will tell you that I am the tournament director of the Vanity Cup walleye tournament held here each fall. 160 two man teams over 2 days. We weighed over 400 walleye over 9 lbs.
